Welcome to the Dream Library, where we record dreams and turn them into stories.Game writer by day, dream librarian by night, Lapys (fae/faer) has always loved stories and the many ways they can be told. From oral tales to modern books and video games, fae wants to explore all forms of storytelling and the intersections with other art forms in different media.Faer current fixations are video games and storytelling, and how those two can intersect and blend to push beyond a simple storyline.
Made over a weekend by a team of five, this short game explores the theme of the jam "Nothing is what it seems to be" by dropping the player in a space station, surrounded by monsters, and huffing a suspicious gas to stay alive while they explore and try to understand what happened.CW: Horror game, non-graphic violence, implication of violence towards humans.Credits:

Made over a weekend by a team of four, this short game explores the theme of the jam "Resilience". The goal of the jam was to discover and use Arcweave, so everything is made with this game developement solution.
It was really interesting to learn that new technology, and to plan everything before writing. It was my personal challenge, as I didn't start writing until I had a complete plan, which is not my usual way of writing. I wrote a post-mortem about the behind-the-scenes on LinkedIn, link below.Credits:

Together with a campaign aimed at mid-schoolers around the pros and cons of the digital world, I was tasked with creating a world and scenario for a serious game to introduce a public of teenagers to the dangers of the internet and how to protect themselves online.I worked with an association helping victims of cybercrimes and applied what I learned from their experience to the document. As we worked closely, I got feedback often, and the first draft was almost the final version. The original document was produced in French in 2016; I translated it into English in 2024, trying to keep it as close to the original as possible, while knowing full well my writing has improved since.

To celebrate Catalan culture and more specifically Sant Jordi's Day (on April 23rd), Tokina asked me to write for her an alternative version of the legend of Sant Jordi and the dragon. She recorded herself reading it to be played during a stream, along with a cover of a Catalan song, and some explanation about their culture.
You can find the VoD for the live during which she talked about it [here].(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3wg3MxvGG4)CW: graphic depiction of wounds and blood.

My first commission ever, for a VTuber named Auren Penvoy.A simple story about a boy making star-shaped candies that induce dreams, created by the ingredients used for the candy. This short story is here to introduce his lore through a normal day, while setting up a mysterious encounter in a dream.
An article I wrote about a game writing tool I discovered during The Narrative Department's masterclass.
I explain the story stack through the lens of analyzing the game Hollow Knight: Silksong by Team Cherry.
At the end of it, I did a short exercise to see how I would have adapted the same player experience to another story, keeping it into the Hollow Knight universe, but changing the character.
Illustration by Team Cherry, modified by me (adding an overlay and extra text)

A star awakens one day in human form. She meets up with a fae in a dream world and explores her purpose.
Read to learn more about Rhay, a sentient star VTuber, and give her a follow at twitch.tv/rhaylanvt
This piece was written as a reward for a big donation during an event on stream. The challenge was to write something that would fit the character, while keeping the surprise of the content for the person behind it.
I took some risks, wrote a first draft I was happy with, and got confirmation before polishing it.

The prompt was simple, and I put a twist on it.
Original prompt: Write about a ship or other vehicle that can take you somewhere different from where you are now.I took it a step further and made it not a regular ship, but a ship that travels the multiverse. Setting out from any port, it can bring you to any place on a coast, anywhere, as long as you have the coordinates of the place in a specific format. It navigates not on water, but catches on the ley lines woven in and between the universes and rides them to its destination.Writing it was an interesting exercise, using two characters from an idea I have for a bigger story, which isn't complete yet, and putting them in a context that could fit as a part of that story.

In an alternate Chicago where a weird monolith gave supernatural powers to people, lives Ziyan, an agent tasked with hunting down those who would use those powers without rules. Read to learn more about her world and how she met with Lapys. And give her a follow at twitch.tv/ziyan_su
A simple piece I wrote to thank a friend for her support. I asked her about the lore for her character, and spun it around mine with the Library to make an interesting story.

An attempt at a short script that could be read and recorded by voice actors to share on Twitter, during a time when this kind of script was trending.I learned afterwards that I went a bit too long, and it was hard to record it in the short time Twitter allowed for audio files, but I had fun writing in such a short format.

A vent piece I made about the state of the VTuber industry back in June 2025, as well as an entry for the Neo-Twiny Jam (interactive fiction game in less than 500 words, 481 words counted). It tackles my feelings about how the cracks are showing stronger than ever before, and how helpless this all feels, with no escape because of all the extremism on all sides.CW: mentions of alt-right ideologies (no details), mention of harassment, bad endings.
I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Lapys during writing cohorts and work sessions, we both had the same mentality about our work. Refine then grow, repeat, loop again and again no matter the mental cost. Lapys has an inquisitive nature that always allowed her to excel as a writer. Her focus on the small details with major implications is impeccable. She is able to apply that skill to every aspect of development. Lapys is no different than the name, a gem.

FR: Lapys a su démontrer une véritable pertinence dans ses idées, que ce soit dans leurs générations que dans ses suggestions d'amélioration. J'ai pu sentir également une passion dans le domaine, ainsi qu'une capacité à gérer le travail en équipe.
EN: Lapys managed to showcase relevance with her ideas, be it in their inceptions or for improvement suggestions. I could also feel a passion for the industry, as well as a capacity to handle working in a team.
